Biography:
Mickey Harmon (He/Him) is a queer illustrator based in Buffalo, NY. Studying illustration all his life through experiences and re-imagining our world through figure study, texture and line work, he’s adapted a knack for body work, large belly daddies, furry men and LGBTQ bodies. Working mainly in commissions from fellow queers found through Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, he provides portrait services commercially for a wide range of folks.
Drawing was always the goal for Mickey, even from a young age, in his mid-thirties he began drawing peoples “nudes” highlighting the unique way we share our bodies in the modern age. He adapted the moniker “Super Twunk” to divide his work locally from architecture. He currently resides in the city of Buffalo, NY with his partner Jordan.
Owning and operating his own gallery gift shop with fellow artists friends in Buffalo’s historic Allentown Neighborhood, he sits on the Allentown Association board tasked with organizing and executing monthly gallery walks for the neighborhood.
He loves riding his bike, organizing community events and reading about queer histories.
