About Black Women Faculty Connection Supporters

Convening our community takes time and energy that we are not paid for, so your thoughtful contributions allow us to continue this important work.  Consider this our "tip jar" allowing you to support our efforts on a continuous basis.

We are connecting Black women faculty and administrators with hiring leaders in an unprecedented way.  Our supporters on patreon also gain access to:

  1. Discount workshop pricing when you invite BWFC to your campus.
  2. Discount pricing on customized professional development retreats with Dr. Edwards and Dr. Amutah-Onukagha
  3. Early access to BWFC career and networking event tickets.
  4. Event admission discounts.
  5. Occasional audio classes to support your advancement on topics such as book publishing, competitive applications, and becoming a consultant.
These benefits are not available to those in our free community.  We appreciate your support and dedication to the Black Women Faculty Connection.  We are an inspirational community of Black women aspiring to and pursuing teaching and administrative roles in higher education.  We are dedicated to diversifying higher education by strengthening the presence of Black women in academia.

The Black Women Faculty (BWF) ConnectionBWF Academy, and Black Woman’s Guide to Advancing in Academia (BWG) offer valuable guidance for early career, mid career, and tenure-track faculty, as well as graduate students and post-docs on the path to teaching at the collegiate level.  The content and discussions across multiple channels considers full-time, part-time, and online opportunities for entering and advancing in academia.

Continue aspiring to excel,

Dr. Jennifer Edwards
Dr. Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha
