Hi there!

I'm Suzan, and I write under the name S.M. Butler. I'm a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author who writes military romance and romantic suspense. I'm also a visual artist and recently, I've gotten into Youtube on a semi-regular basis.

What do I do?

I'm a writer before anything else, but people are rarely just one thing. I'm an artist, an AuthorTuber, a mother, and a small business owner.

I love creating stories and videos and art.

Being on Patreon allows me to pursue that which I love. Currently, I work full-time at a job that I both love and despise, but in all honesty, I'd rather be writing. Or making a video. Or both those things.

My ultimate goal is to be able to quit that job and maintain my quality of life for my own mental health. Patreon is one step in the road to get there.

Most of the Stuff You Get will be virtual. From time to time, I may do a milestone goal or a Special Offer of a physical product, but I really suck at going to the post office, so those will be few and far between.

Here are some things I'll be posting:

  • A weekly serial
  • Monthly writing updates
  • Patreon-exclusive videos and Lens
  • Exclusive first look at covers, blurbs, and upcoming releases
  • The occasional sneak peek at my work-in-progress

Your support will allow me to...

  • Write More Stuff
  • Make more videos
  • Be able to afford to upgrade my equipment, like my computer, software, and filming setup.
  • Create and nurture a wonderful community of nerds

If you've read this far...

You are awesome. Members of this Patreon will get more Stuff as we go along. I have many, many plans for Good Things to Come on this page, so I hope you'll stick around. We're going to have a blast together.
