About
Once he had a good working knowledge of airbrushing he decided to take his learning to the next level by getting some structured tutoring in this awesome art form from one of the United Kingdom's best airbrush artists Beej Curtis. Svee spent a week with Beej in his studio at Organic Image and vastly increased his knowledge on all things to do with airbrushing and custom painting.
Because of his love of music, and the fact he has been a keen guitarist since his teen years, Svee specialises in airbrushed artwork on guitars although he does paint other things too. His multi-award winning art has built him quite a reputation for highly detailed, vibrant paint jobs on a wide range of substrates from guitars to motorbikes, leather jackets to canvas paintings. His client list includes major names including ESP Guitars and Brian May (Queen).
Although Svee specialises in graphic guitars, he also airbrushes leather jackets, motorcycles, wall murals and pretty much anything that will sit still long enough. One of his full motorcycle paint jobs (A David Mann tribute Harley Davidson) has been winning awards at every show it goes to including 1st place in "Best Paint" competitions and "Best in show" contests. He also does a wide range of digital work including website graphics, digital paintings/artwork and logo design and even video editing and movie special effects. He has also developed a passion for photography and loves to work with creative models to produce a painting or photo that tells a story.

Hi all!
Welcome to my Patreon page. I'm Alan (aka Svee). I'm a freelance artist, photographer, tattoo apprentice, airbrush journalist and instructor, father, husband, social outcast and all round creative chappy from the good old UK.
I do WHAT exactly?!?!?!
Well, 3 days a week I'm an apprentice at a tattoo studio. The rest of my time is spent doing this kinda thing...![]()
I also do some photography. Normally with the intention to use the images I shoot for my future arty projects be it a traditional painting or something digital. Sometimes I'll even do some photo manipulation...
Sometimes though, I love the photos so much I can't bring myself to do anything to them other than share them with the world...![]()
So what is this page about then?
Well, to put it simply... I need your help! I have so many unused photos from numerous photo shoots, tutorial videos, projects and ideas that its a real shame they never get to see the light of day. Unfortunately that takes time which is something I just don't have much of. I'm a grown up (physically anyway lol) so I have bills to pay, a family to support, yadda yadda yadda. I take on commissions and custom paint jobs to keep the bank manager happy but that means my spare time is seriously limited and my own ideas and other stuff have to take a back seat and there they tend to stay until they are forgotten. I love working with creative models in photo shoots to start "fleshing out" a concept for a painting or even a series of artworks but photo shoots aren't cheap on time or money so with your help I would like to free up some of my time by taking on less commissions but at the same time try and keep a roof over my head.
This is where you and Patreon come in.
So first off, what is Patreon? Well, this short video may clear that right up for you...
So it's crowd-funding at its best! Much like Kickstarter, Patreon is a way to support a creative person who's work you love. BUT unlike Kickstarter, Patreon is not just to back/support a single project, your donation will support EVERYTHING I do! So you are supporting the CREATOR, not just a single project he/she produces. As you can probably tell by the above, I create MANY different things from airbrushed stuff, digital artwork, photo manipulations even good old photoshoots and with your support, I hope to bring you loads of extras from my creations every month from step-by-step tutorials, offering up sketches for you colourists out there to have fun with, doing a photoshoot with a model and offering the images up to you all as stock images for use in your own work royalty free, the list goes on and on! The more support I get, the less commissions I'll have to take on which will then free up my time to create content, tutorials, videos, you name it! I believe I have a lot to give back to the world after it has spent years being an inspiration and teacher to myself and my creativity and with your help I'd like to start giving something back and hopefully help and inspire other creative people in their work.

FAQ's
Do I have to pay in US Dollars?
No, any currency will do. As this is an american website everything is written in dollars but you can use any currency and it will be converted automatically. You can even pay via PayPal which makes it even easier!
How much content will you provide a month?
I'll aim to upload something different every week. For example one week I'll upload a sketch for all you digital colourists to have a play with, the following week might be a video tutorial, then a behind the scenes video from a photo shoot and lastly a bunch of royalty free stock images from the shoot that month. The order of that lot may change from month to month but it shows you my plans. All you will need to do is come to my Patreon page and in the "Activity" section at the top you will see all the "Patreon supporters only" content mentioned above.
I don't have loads of money. Can I still become a Patreon?
Indeed you can! Please only sign up to what you can afford. Even as little as $1 a month will help hugely! I'm not trying to get rich from this or anything like that. All Patreon will enable me to do is make more content for you doing the stuff I love rather than working on something else.
How long am I signing up for?
As long or as short as you want to. Theres no contract or anything here. Donate $1 for one month, decide its not for you and stop. Theres no penalty fees or anything. You are totally in control of how much you spend and for how long.
Can I increase or decrease my payment in the future to change my supporters "perk"?
Absolutely, you just log onto your account and change/cancel the account whenever you wish.
