I honestly started SWTOR Economics with no appreciation for how much interest there would be in a rational, analytic approach to the in-game economy of Star Wars: The Old Republic.  I hoped that a few people would read my content and maybe even comment on it.

My initial intentions required no financial support because it was a format to share information that I was gathering for my own interest and sharing in sporadic free time.  I would happily continue down that path indefinitely, but that means that SWTOR Economics will remain an enthusiast's hobby where new content ebbs and flows with my free time.  Again, this is not a bad outcome necessarily!

However, if you want to see the content continue to be created with a schedule and frequency to meet the interest level I've encountered in the community, that is an option as well.  It would be an honor and pleasure to create this content for you; but, in fairness to my family and friends, I can only make this a priority to continuously create content if this can bring home at least a little bacon.

I am creating this page so that you can decide which path this endeavor takes.  There are thousands of incredible bloggers and streamers that are not paid for the content they create and I would gladly remain in those ranks forever.  But if there are enough people out there that are willing to pitch in each month to help buy my wife enough shoes to allow me to invest more time into this, it would be my pleasure to see how far we can take this idea!

Anyone that supports SWTOR Economics is now a member of my inner circle, or voluntary advisor board, or list of people I will listen to earnestly since you are supporting me with your hard-earned money.  As your first opportunity as a member of the inner circle, I'm currently taking suggestions on how to reward members of my inner circle...

I can officially start saying that I make money playing and blogging about SWTOR.  While this amount would be mostly symbolic, it would be an awesome milestone to me nonetheless!
