Hi! I'm Brad, and I'm on Patreon to find funding support for my passion - creating picture books for children! Inspired by my upbringing in the wilds of Northern Zimbabwe, my characters reflect the animals that have bitten inspired me throughout the years! (I haven't been to Antarctica or been bitten inspired by anything from there, but that was a flash of creativity I had absolutely no control over :))

These books mostly come with a positive moral, or environmental message for young listeners/readers, hopefully in a funny, relaxed and non-preachy manner. You be the judge of that!

Please read through the material which I've made available to the public under "posts" and consider joining the tadpohl club!

Sign up for $1 / month to the tadpohl.com club and gain access from the start to this unruly series of cool, animal children's picture books. Supporters get the eBooks and other downloads free, and discounts on print versions and merchandise from the shop (coming soon).

10% of the proceeds from this Patreon page will go towards paying for a second eye operation for Blessing Chanza, a little girl in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe).

Blessing's story:
Blessing was four years old when an old piece of rusty wire went into her eye. Two years ago she was playing outside her classroom during a break when her jersey got caught on an old fence. Upon giving it a vigorous tug the jersey broke free, but the piece of wire it was hooked on sprang back and right into her eye.

Due to this unhappy accident (and not helped by the mismanagement of the school and the hospital she was taken to), Blessing has lost most of the sight in her one eye. Read more here . . .
