Everyone who donates can submit a request for something they'd like me to draw - it doesn't have to be Leftover Soup related! Once a month, I'll pick one of those requests at random and draw it for you!
Leftover Soup Book
If we get up this high, I'll start work on a book(s) version of Leftover Soup, which will be purchasable as either a PDF or a dead tree version. Once it's done, all patrons will get the PDF version at no additional cost!
Weekday updates
This is officially "quit your job and do comics full time" territory. If we get up here, Leftover Soup is going to go from only updating three times a week to updating FIVE times a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!
Daily updates!
If we get up this high, I'll update on Saturdays and Sundays too!
About
Hi there! I'm Mason "Tailsteak" Williams. You may know me from my old webcomic One Over Zero or my novel Bang. My current project is a webcomic called Leftover Soup, available at leftoversoup.com, and I'll occasionally post unrelated art or projects over on tailsteak.com
More information about me? Okay... uh... I'm Canadian! I'm married to a fellow cartoonist. We have a rabbit. I currently work part time at a call center. I'm right handed. I don't have any allergies. I'm a webcomic nut, I read them by the hundred. I spend a lot of time on Twitter. I have a predilection for minimalism, metatextual overanalysis, dry wit paired with blunt absurdism, good food, bad music, and staying up late.
I once ate a piece of candy I found on the bus.

I draw a slice-of-life webcomic called Leftover Soup. It updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (no hiatuses, no filler!) on leftoversoup.com and through Comic Chameleon.
I think Leftover Soup is unique for two reasons.
First, I like to use the comic to talk about issues that I think are interesting. My characters will frequently discuss topics like religion, porn, science fiction or racism, and I try to handle it in a way that provokes thought and discussion, rather than simply preaching my own views.
Second, there are games that are provided, for free, in the comic itself: Rock Paper Scissors Chess, Triptych, Dice Farmer, Flipmode, And The Beat Goes On, and Castaway (the latter two of which are available as printable PDFs).
I work hard to improve myself and my strip with every update. Every strip comes with commentary and a transcript for the visually impaired. There's a lot of supplemental art and a thriving forum community.
Your donation will help me devote even more time to this project (and less to my day job). I thank you for your contribution.
