Hi, I'm Tamer. I'm a political comedian and a stand-up comedian. My father is Muslim, my mother is Jewish, and when I was a kid my family moved from Egypt to East Los Angeles, a Mexican neighborhood. I was born an outsider and that's where I've stayed.

I talk to old people a lot, what Google used to be. Once I asked an old person why he thinks kids join terrorist organizations and he said because it's easier to be evil than alone. I think that making people feel like they don't belong breaks people.

On the AlienEyes podcast, I'll interview outsiders at length, people who have alien eyes.  A woman in comedy. A blind person in comedy. A deaf person in MMA. And I want to build a community of listeners through Patreon who see value in hearing these voices, and want to laugh while doing it.

I think of comedians as emotional strippers. I bear all, naked on stage talking about personal experiences with abuse and drugs. I think because I'm so transparent with my personal life, listeners will get that much more out of interview subjects when I ask them to discuss theirs.

I hope you'll enjoy it.
