About Teachers Need Teachers Podcast

  • Being a teacher is CRAZY and OVERWHELMING.
  • You want to know when it’ll get easier.
  • You’re stressed out. You work hard.
  • It feels like there’s too much to do and learn, but you don’t have to do it alone!

I’ve been teaching for almost 18 years, and I’ve screwed up A LOT along the way. I finally started figuring things out and feeling confident around my 11th year.

I often felt like teaching was an uphill battle, and I wished that I could fast-track my progress so that I’d stop falling flat on my face.

You’ve probably heard my podcast, heard me on another podcast, or been in my Facebook group.

Why were you looking for my podcast in the first place? You’re a new or beginning teacher, and you need help. I doubt you want to wait until your 11th year to feel confident and in control of your classroom.

  • You want practical tips that will help make teaching easier.
  • You know that your teacher preparation program didn’t teach you everything you need to know.
  • You either don’t know what to expect or don’t know how to keep your head above water while you’re winging it at school.

  • My goal is to help you feel better about teaching.
  • To make teaching just a little bit easier.
  • To help you navigate through these crazy first years so that you can maintain your sanity and personal life.

I know the questions you should be asking but didn’t know to ask. AND, I can help you figure out the answers that align with YOUR teaching style and personality.

Each week, I release an episode of the Teachers Need Teachers podcast in my free time. I turn down extra projects and side-jobs such as before and after school tutoring so that I can make time to give you my best insights and curate helpful guests on a regular basis.

It’s definitely a labor of love, and honestly, I get so much joy and sense of purpose from helping you nail this whole teaching thing.

So if you love the show and want to be an AWESOME SUPPORTER- then welcome, and THANK YOU! You’re part of this now, which means that you’re helping me pay it forward. You’re now a member of a growing community, and it’s really an exciting thing!

Every dollar you contribute goes towards the production of the show, as well as getting the word out to other new teachers such as yourself.

Because we’re all in this together, we ALL benefit from our collective experience.

So thank you SO MUCH for come here to check out what I’m up to and support me. You have NO IDEA how much it means to me!
