About Telephone: Dance and Audio Description

Telephone is a work in progress film by Krishna Washburn and Heather Shaw, bringing awareness to the important art form of audio description. Audio description allows blind and visually impaired people to be included fully in the joy of artistic expression.

We are thrilled to offer exclusive content and educational videos on Patreon - your support will directly contribute to creating a more accessible and vibrant dance community.

All supporters will have access to exclusive content regarding Telephone and the incredible team of artists we have on board.

Our Patreon exclusive educational video series, Anatomy from the Inside Out, (available for Masterclass Insider and VIP tiers) will teach functional anatomy using internal sensation and cues. It is appropriate for all learners, no matter their sight status, and is a great tool for dancers and movers of all experience levels, as well as choreographers and dance educators.

Thank you for your support and we are excited to have you on this journey with us!

Krishna is in front of a large brown background, wearing a grey tee-shirt and Heather is in front of a soft yellow background, wearing a green turtleneck.

Elbows are extended in line with her shoulders. She is wearing a black sleeveless turtle neck and has long dark hair. Photo by Kazuo ota on Unsplash
