Team Five Star!
$2,000 per month
We're able to bring another person into our ranks, and it's all thanks to you guys that they aren't eating from a can of beans under a bridge! (Ha... "a bridge")
Team Six Star
$4,000 per month
CHECK IT! Alliteration!

So, the idea here is pretty simple: we're able to bring another content creator into the fold, continuing to make our jobs easier and content creation more efficient! In other words: more people, more content!
Team Seven Star!
$6,000 per month
We've collected all seven balls! Our wish upon the dragon? Yet another party member to help us in our quest!
IT'S OVER 9000!
$9,001 per month
WHAT NINE THOUSAND!?!

(This was mandatory.)
Team Four Star's Lookout!
$10,000 per month
If we can hit this monumental number (emphasis on mental) and we can gather everyone we need down here, we plan to invest in renting a studio, in hopes of turning what was once a group of nerds scattered around the world making a low budget parody into a full on production house!

Who are you?

Hey folks! This is Team Four Star! Your friendly neighborhood content creators and hopeless nerds, also known as the the writers, actors, and "entertainers" best known for works such as DragonBall Z Abridged and Hellsing Ultimate Abridged!

That's neat, why are you here?

Thanks for asking possible future patron!

We've been working on DragonBall Z Abridged since 2008! Alongside that, we've been putting out more and more content to help expand our horizons and become increasingly more legitimate.

... and that's why we're here right now!

DragonBall Z Abridged and Hellsing Ultimate Abridged are strictly not-for-profit
. We do not gain ad revenue from them, and though they may direct people to our peripheral content  that does earn us money (TFS Gaming, DBcember, Song Parodies, etc.), we still have to pay our bills.

As such, expanding and hiring on new folks to help us work on new content is really tough. We never want to employ somebody and then not pay them accordingly. That's where you folks come in!

What other content do you have in mind?

We've got a couple of projects that we're currently developing, but we don't want to spill the beans just yet. Once we have more concrete material to share, we'll throw it at your collective faces to enjoy. You can expect it to be in the same vain as our previous works!

One of our biggest goals is original animation. Unfortunately, animation is not cheap. Hence: Patreon!

Here is a very basic example of the kind of content we'd be able to put out more consistently with a little help from you all:

Where would my money be going?

As previously stated, this funding will go into bringing new people on board, i.e. animators, editors, etc. That money will also help us improve the quality of our current work through better equipment and software.

It's difficult to nail down an exact cost for these expenses, especially on a monthly basis, but we're shooting for about $2,000 for every new member of the team we add on board.

We want to be perfectly clear here. This Patreon campaign will not speed up the production of DBZA or HUA! It will not slow it down either, but the production of DBZA and HUA is all on the shoulders of our editor Kaiserneko.

Anything beyond the amount we need? Well, congratulations, you're helping us stockpile for bigger projects!

I Thought DBZA and HUA were non-profit?

As stated earlier, DBZA and HUA do not make ad revenue. Our side projects, however, do earn us money. If you have ever seen an advertisement on one of our DBZ or Hellsing videos on YouTube, understand that, that money is going to the owners of the footage, and very likely the owners of whatever music was used. It is 100% within their right to do so, and we fully understand and support their decision.

Our T-shirts over on SharkRobot are for-profit, and we've worked with several people to make sure that all our designs fall under copyright parody laws.

As for Patreon: we are not asking you to pay for DBZA or HUA. This cannot be stressed enough. We're not here to try and force your hand for content that we've already promised you and delivered to you for years. Both of those series are labors of love, and we want to make sure that all of you continue to enjoy it as we expand. Besides, we aren't dicks... well we aren't THOSE kind of dicks.

Anything else we should know?

This is a transitional period where we are bringing our once-hobby into the realm of a full time job. There will always be hiccups in production as we learn to accommodate and adjust, finding new people for projects and managing new deadlines. So, as we move forward, please give us your support and patience, and we'll continue to supply you with the content you've enjoyed since 2008.

We hope you enjoy all our new content as well! Thank you all so very much!
