About

A computer programmer and video gamer since the age of 14, I have a degree in computer science and have been worked as a professional programmer since 1996. I started to create game mods in 2015. I started my "career" as a "modder" by reverse-engineering a popular software in the sim-racing world called SimHub. My very first mod was a co-driver for GTA5. Doing that I learned a lot about driving simulators, the ways they provide telemetry and how to use the telemetric data. Combining my experience as professional programmer with the passion for rally and sim racing, I developed three hardware devices based on Arduino and Nextion displays, writing their firmware and drivers and I've sold them between 2017 and 2018. In 2017 I started to work on a new co-driver engine called Navigator. I developed Navigator as a SimHub Plugin. In 2018 I started to work on RBRPro, a "frontend" for RBR. Born as a simple game launcher, RBRPro has gone much beyond the original purpose, becoming an innovative way to play this immortal rally game, with its own server, teams and championships.
Since the first releases, RBRPro captured the attention of the russian rally driver Nikolay Gryazin, who became a project patron, supporting it with donations and developing special contents. Besides the frontend development I also worked at the improvement of stages textures and cars liveries and developed new engine sounds by using the FMOD studio. In 2020 I added the support for add-ons to the Manager and started to convert the Navigator plugin into an add-on for RBRPro.
Today RBRPro is a popular mod known in 42+ countries which counts on 3800 registered users and going towards 3000 followers on Facebook.
The donations we receive are allowing me and my collaborators to develop the project day after day.
