Welcome to THAT ONE AUDITION!!  These are honest, humorous, and inspirational conversations with your favorite on-screen storytellers and Hollywood Influencers who reveal their most life changing audition tales and the survival skills they've collected along the way.  I'm Alyshia Ochse, actress/writer/podcaster/wife/mother and a seeker of the truth and lover of the creative journey. For years I've been interviewing actors on the craft of filmmaking, character development, heartbreak, triumphs, waiting, brainstorming, creating, and all the other behind the scenes aspects of being a working actor. This podcast is a place to ask questions, problem solve, get inspired, laugh a little, and get real about what an artist does, day to day. I wanted to make the resource I wish I had when I first started, and to motivate our community of storytellers to stay in the game and enjoy the journey.  I think of this podcast as a mentorship program for the community that needs a story to relate to stay in the game.  We are in this together!!

Hey, thanks for supporting the community and making it possible to share these stories.  An actor's journey can be very lonely, helping these stories have a voice and get out there provides us a sense of support.  "Hell, yeah, we got this!"

YOU GET TO BE a Show Consultant.

You know how sometimes someone says they're on some advisory board and they sound fancy? That's kind of what happens here. After pledging, you'll receive a link to join our "inner circle" email list, which we'll use when we need feedback or suggestions or when we're lacking disciplinarians and need someone to put our asses in line. We also might let this list know about upcoming plans for the site before we announce them publicly.
