About Cassidy Cash

Hello! I am Cassidy Cash. I am the host of That Shakespeare Life, the podcast and web series that takes you behind the curtain and into the real life and history of William Shakespeare. I started this podcast because Shakespeare is a hero of mine and I wanted to learn everything I could about what kind of person writes such amazing poems and plays. To discover the truth, I sit down over a nice cup of tea (usually chamomile) each Monday to talk with the world's leading experts on Shakespeare. Our guests come from all over the world and they have, in some cases, spent decades studying and researching specific aspects of Shakespeare's life, representing the absolute best people to learn from about what life was like in 16-17th century England. We explore topics like the first flush toilet in England, cats used as military weapons, poisons that doubled as life saving medicine, torture, the King, and more.

Goals
0% complete
If we reach this goal, I will source some of the harder to find ingredients and make recipes that would have been a favorite for Shakespeare but not common today.
