Hi!

I’m Tegan O’Neil and I’m a writer and critic. I’d like to ask you to read my stuff.

I write a lot - mostly criticism and fiction. I produce a newsletter, The Hurting Gazette, to organize it all between two virtual covers. Every issue will feature two serial fictions and one essay - the current lineup begins with sorcerous romp Dan Magic and the Swiftian satire Balthasar Foeman. The third feature for the immediate future will be music related.

The first, double-sized issue, featuring my review of The Last Jedi, is free here. Subsequent issues will be available for $2 subscribers - we’re up to issue 16! The first five issues have already been compiled in the first edition of The Hurting Gazette Omnibus, available as well to all $2 subscribers.

My first three fantasy books are done and available now as downloads for $2 subscribers. I am quite, quite proud of A Darkness in the Time of the First, The Book of the Loam, and Beyond the Farthest Star The first is a romantic mystery set on a world of doomed immortals who hide a devastating secret that implicates the entire galaxy. The second is the ancient chronicle of the greatest barbarian in the galaxy, Death-Gar, last surviving doodle of my AP Chemistry notes. The third features the seedy space opera adventures of John Xenon, the Man from Earth. Together they add up to a lot more than just one story.

The low low price of $2 a month (“Ugnaut Tier”) gives you access to any older content behind the paywall - including the first two volumes of my podcast, Tegan Reads Wookieepedia. The still very reasonable price of $5 a month (“Gungan Tier”) allows you access to the complete first volume of The Array Omnibus - the first five books, finished and complete, as well as new chapters of the sixth, The Continuing Adventures of John Wesley Hardin, as they are available.

(Although my podcast Tegan Reads Wookieepedia is currently on hiatus it may return. New installments, if produced, will be available to anyone pledging $2.)

Subscribers will also be supporting new work for my blog, The Hurting, where I post occasional essays and criticism. All the autobiographical essays from my book project Tomorrow Is Always The Best Day Of My Life are still available for free (for the moment!) on my blog. (A subscription of just $1 a month gets you an ePub of said book as well as Galaxy of Zeroes, all for your reading convenience.)
