Our mental health, both neurologically and chemically, is far more adjustable and reprogrammable than we were ever taught to believe,

If you can't consciously stop yourself from feeling anxious or depressed - then it would suggest that these conditions are being driven by you unconsciously!

Therefore, if you desire effective change, you'll need to be taught how to consciously access and reprogram your unconscious mind, to take these errors of 'conditioning' out and put more appropriate programs for calmness and fun, back in to replace them.

Also, if your cells and chemical biology has become all groggy and you are not producing the right chemicals and hormones - you will probably feel quite crap!

But consider this, all your cells sit in darkness (as does your brain) waiting for input from your senses, so they will know how to react to what is happening 'out there'.

What you are thinking and saying - and how you are thinking and saying them are the driver of what your chemistry will do (not what is actually happening in reality).

So, for a person using soft and kind words in a stressful situation - the brain and cells (which live in darkness) will think nothing terrible is happening 'out there' so just happily jog on.

However, if the person is shouting, crying or tense - the brain and cells (which live in darkness) will think there is danger is out there, and ready the body in response to that 'perceived' danger.

Which means that we can change our internal chemistry if we learn how to trick our body into releasing more of the feel-good chemical and less of the feel-bad ones.

Which will also take a lot of stress off the body, thus reducing inflammation and pain.
