You know who's awesome? You are! Because you're helping me create a sustainable way of helping people. Bringing them together in community, boosting their self-esteem through self-care and mindfulness, and making the world a better place.

Here, we explore Holistic Mindfulness that includes looking at the internal self AND how we interact with the world around us.

My mindfulness journey formally began with meditation in 2012. Meditation is an introspective process, and I used it to hash out my problems, learn more about myself, and navigate the immediate world around me with more ease. While my learning led me to a more mindful life, it wasn’t the whole picture.

Personal mindfulness is life-changing. It alters how you think about yourself, what you eat, how you deal with stress, how you care for your body, and much more.

But it isn’t the full story.

As I taught people to be more personally mindful, I found I was using my mindfulness to look outward. (You’ve gotta get your house in order first, right?)

I began learning about the parts that women like me were missing:
  • the struggles of other people who don’t share my privilege (white, able-bodied, CIS-gender)
  • the impact my choices have on the environment
  • the chance to build others up and provide a platform for them, and beyond.

That’s when I really started looking at my own life and found that I was being kind of self-centered. I was using mindfulness practices personally, while mindlessly moving through the world. Yes, I was helping others, but maybe I wasn’t helping in all the ways I could be.

That’s when I decided to completely revamp the way I work and it all made sense!

Over the years, I’ve been drawn to helping women improve their self-esteem while helping employers learn to communicate better. I’ve helped physicians streamline their day so their practice runs better and I’ve helped teens learn how to de-stress during final exam season.

But Mindfulness includes looking beyond the self once you get your internal landscape figured out.

Holistic Mindfulness comes from a concept I call Whole-Life Alignment in which your entire life is aligned with what makes your heart feel happy, your soul feel content, and your mind feel utilized and valuable. And you can’t have Whole-Life Alignment if you just focus on what’s going on inside your head.

Together, let's explore what Holistic Mindfulness means as you bring your life into alignment in every way through:

  • Mindful consumerism
  • Mindful interactions that factor in privilege, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, etc.
  • Mindful stewardship of the environment
  • Mindful thought processes
  • Mindful self-care
  • Mindful eating
  • Mindful relationships

Here you get dibs on awesome digital products and meditations, insiders' looks at behind the scenes processes, and exclusive content!

A little more about me: I'm a Master Mindfulness Practitioner and Certified Happiness Life Coach. I help women find their own version of happy, communicate better, improve their relationships, live with more mindfulness, and achieve their goals. We meditate together, support one another, and learn in a safe, caring community. I'm also a mom to a great teenager and partner to a wonderful man; I run a small publishing company; have lived in North Texas most of my life (except for those 3 years in Tokyo); and I find inspiration in water, Elizabeth Gilbert's work, Florence + The Machine songs, and comedy shows!
