Not long after the Tribe of Gods shaped the world and enkindled the stars, the many races were led to name their lands. The plains of Human Wynland, the dunes of Dwarven Kanduk, the mountains of Orcan Workingar. And the three Gods--as unique in morality as their own elements, bestow their unique magic to the few they deem worthy. Rhuadu—Chieftan of Gods, grants the gift of fire, Duinna—Nature’s Guardian, the power of enchantment, and Koannus—the Deep God, grants power over sea and soul.

Three there were. Now only two remain to grant their power.

Nearly three decades have passed since the Chieftan of Gods has been slain. And the consequences of the slaying has left the slayer’s daughter Bri a struggling barmaid in a farm country Inn, where a Magnir called Villadius find her. To send her away on a quest across the world to discover the truth of how her father killed a God, and how it can undone, or done again in the war against the Deep God: who empowers an Elvan Sorseer and her army across the ocean. The rightful Queen with ambitions to exceed her Empire’s former glory, rule over the many races, and wipe the memory of Rhuadu from this world.
This is a project I’ve dreamed about for a few years, and only until recently decided to put to paper. From a time when I absolutely fell in love with audio dramas, from We’re Alive, to Welcome to Nightvale, to classics like the Star Wars Radio Play, or audiobooks like A Song of Ice and Fire by Roy Dotrice.

The genre of epic fantasy isn't one I’ve dabbled in a lot. Most of it is derivative of the greats like J.R.R. Tolkien. Though, I hope to encapsulate the world of high adventure and myth beyond that of Celtic and Arthurian stories (even though they're amazing). Subverting some of the expectations of the genre along the way. With Elves inspired by the Greco-Romans, Dwarven realms resembling North African kingdoms like Mali and Kush. Orcs inspired by Norse culture and myth. Drawing from obscure legend and historical figures to form an episodic fantasy series in podcast form, told with vivid sound effects, music, and of course--voice talent.

So I hear you asking is this studio recorded or do you have one really great voice? Psh, nope. We’re Kurt—the writer and producer. A cast of voice talent from around the world lending voices via email and directed sessions on Discord and Skype. Music composers. And soon—hopefully, audio editors to lend a hand with the projects workflow.

My goal is to have a release format of half an hour length two part Episodes, weekly. So I can devote more time to writing it. And as reward for all our patrons, some byproducts of making this show: Music by Adam Halpin and Stephen Cumberworth, and Extended Episodes.

So yep … That’s about us.

(Warning: mild language, smoking and alcohol use, battle sequences. TV-14)
