Thank you all so much for supporting my channel! :)

The Diamond Net channel is named after the Buddhist story of the Hindu God, Indra, and his jeweled net that hangs in the sky. Indra's Diamond Net was meant as a metaphor to represent the paradoxically infinite and finite nature of reality, among other things.

It is written that Indra's net stretches in an infinite amount of directions and goes on infinitely in each of those directions. It is also said that at the vortices of that net, there is a jewel. So, there are also an infinite amount of jewels in existence scattered along this infinite net. Also, each jewel reflects ALL of the other jewels in the net. So, in each jewel, there is an infinite number of jewels. So, it could be said that there is an infinite number of jewels on the net. Or it could also be said that there is only one jewel that reflects all other jewels.

This is why I named my channel for this metaphor, because it is my goal to explore the many paradoxes of life and share my insights and experiences relative to them.

Either we can see ourselves as small beings within an infinite reality, or we can see ourselves as the single "container" for all of reality. There is no way to know for sure which is a more valid perspective. But there is a freedom and openness in the inability to know the mysterious nature of our own existence.

Ultimately, I will pick the questions that I feel like I can do the most justice to and that have the most universal relevance to the experience of being human. I reserve the right to decline any questions that I feel like I can't do justice by or are too off topic.

Goals
$122 of $360 per month
Each day at work, I make $90 per day. So, if I want to cut down on my work by one day per week to focus on making videos, I'd need to make about $360 a month from Patreon. Once I reach this goal, I will do a two hour discord chat for all patrons.
