At this level, the support of this Patreon project will cover our basic costs: rent, utilities, foods and (goddamn) student loan payments. This means we can be more selective with commission work, hire people when we need them to help with the business, and generally focus more on making new music!

Hello! We are the Doubleclicks! We sing about dinosaursMr. Darcyspace and Wonder Woman, and thanks to the support of our fans, this nerd-pop-sister-music thing is our full-time job.
We're asking for your help to support us and our music. Patreon is an engine designed specifically for people like us—it's a direct music-to-listener experience! It cuts out the middleman so that YOU, the patron, can support US, the artist, directly, encouraging us to make songs and videos—and funding our lives, annual national tours, collaborations and more.

Here's how it worksBackers create an ongoing pledge to support us with $1, $5, $10 or more per video we release. These videos will be for original songs and cover songs, and will range from simple performance "video-songs" (example), to big crowdsourced projects (example), to different kinds of concepts (examples: animationfire performanceone-take lip-synch videos, and more). We will release a maximum of 1-2 song videos per month through this project. In return for your patronage, we have some fun treats for you in the rewards levels below (including access to special editions of our new crappy comic project). If you can't or don't want to pay, you'll still get to listen to most everything on YouTube for free, just like in the past.

We really, really like crowdfunding. Being directly supported by fans means that we get to decide our own direction: what to write about, what to cover, what to wear, based on our own nerdy weird sensibilities instead of those dictated by a marketing department or creepy old producer—this is such a huge deal. We do what we love, and if you want to help, well, that's up to you! Thank you all so much!
