Who are you and why should anyone care?
Hello! My name is Eric Savon and I'm the creator of the YouTube channel The Gaming Goose

I am a philosopher, and artist by spirit; Teacher, Designer, and Education expert by trade; Aspiring actor, film maker, and creative but in reality I am a loser and and a fuck up.

That all sounds way, way too pretentious, yet accurate at the end, doesn't it?

Truth is, I am just another person trying to trudge his way through the daily grind of life.
I am your average guy who loves video games, comics, toys, pop culture, and the internet.

I love making my videos on YouTube, which I have been doing since 2006. Video games are a passion and hobby of mine. I specifically have an affinity for classic video games more than I do most current generation games.

You probably shouldn't care.

But why are you here on Patreon?

Because now everyone is on Patreon and it can be a good resource for creators. And secondly, I am on Patreon because YouTube's revenue sharing sucks.

Why are you doing this?
I can’t speak for other content creators you might enjoy. The one thing that my Patrons here might be able to help me with is time. If you haven’t created a well-scripted, filmed, and edited video then you might not realize how much time and energy need to be put into it. When YouTube took off, I chose to work in normal jobs and stick with a company that eventually laid me off.  I have been playing catch up with expenses and debt ever since.

As it is now, I do not do this as any source of income. In fact, I have been a partner with YouTube since 2008 and I have been with Machinima since 2012. I do not get enough views to earn revenue beyond 5.00-10.00 USD every other month.

I finally got free of being in a network in the summer! But I am not longer ellible for ads according to YouTube.

But an even bigger reason is that I just really love creating and I have aspirations larger than most others. This isn’t just about me; it’s about many other creative people as well.

If you want to know the kind of content I have created, look at my video gamer reviews and parodies.

Bottom line
If you enjoy the reviews I have made and you'd like to see more work in that vein continue and improve with a  better upload schedule, then please consider becoming a Patron. I see great things in the future, and I'd like you to be a part of all of them.

Thank you for your support, whether or not you decide to pledge anything. What honestly keeps me motivated are the great messages I receive from fans. I appreciate you watching more than you can know.

Wow. I wouldn't know what to say, but I would think of the coolest way to thank everyone in a video that would involve a lot of laughs.
