Who are you and why should anyone care?
Hello! My name is Eric Savon and I'm the creator of the YouTube channel The Gaming Goose.

Writing that sounds way  more pretentious than it is. I am just a guy with a YouTube channel who posts about games like every other moron. I started with random videos, reviews, and Let's Plays. The world suddenly adopted my style and now everyone does them.

Trend setter!

Truth is, I am just another person trying to trudge his way through the daily grind of life.

I am your average guy who loves video games, comics, toys, pop culture, and the internet.

I love making my videos on YouTube, which I have been doing since 2006. Video games are a passion and hobby of mine. I specifically have an affinity for classic video games more than I do most current generation games.

You probably shouldn't care.

But why are you here on Patreon?

Well, I get to share unique content with certain people who enjoy my work. It's a good way to distribute videos to people who like my work who actually care about it.

Also, Patreon can be a good resource for creators because YouTube's revenue sharing sucks.

Why are you doing this?
I can’t speak for other content creators you might enjoy. I'd like to create a dedicated community where we can all have fun. Your support ultimately helps me create better content.

I finally got free of being in a network in the summer of 2018! Woooo!!! But I am not longer eligible for ads according to YouTube's rules. So, I don't do any of this for money.

But an even bigger reason is that I just really love creating and I have aspirations larger than playing games. Who doesn't?

his isn’t just about me; it’s about many other creative people as well.

If you want to know the kind of content I have created, look at my video gamer reviews and parodies.

Bottom line
If you enjoy the playthroughs and reviews I have made and you'd like to see more work in that vein continue and improve with a  better upload schedule, then please consider becoming a Patron. I see great things in the future, and I'd like you to be a part of all of them.

Thank you for your support, whether or not you decide to pledge anything. What honestly keeps me motivated are the great messages I receive from fans. I appreciate you watching more than you can know.

Wow. I wouldn't know what to say, but I would think of the coolest way to thank everyone in a video that would involve a lot of laughs.
