NEW York and NEW Lighting Equipment (Two "New" Things)
SO many death positive advocates are in New York, and I want a chance to film at places like the Morbid Anatomy Museum. I am also hoping to make my lighting set up an actual professional lighting set up, so as to not have to edit the video footage again and again to compensate for the demon sun going behind clouds. Curse the demon sun!

Hi! I'm Caitlin, a mortician and death theorist. In addition to my work at The Order of the Good Death, I make videos that pull back the black curtain of the death industry.
I've been making the Ask a Mortician videos for two and a half years. I've never had the same consistent output as other video-makers because of my full-time death work. I write, shoot, and edit the videos myself (all things I'm not always qualified to do, but there you go). I'd love to make more, and I hope this campaign will allow me to make the videos more of a priority.
How Patreon Works
Unlike a Kickstarter (where you donate a larger amount of money to one big project), Patreon is ongoing. It's easy to sign up. You pick a donation level- $0.50, $1, $3, $5, etc, to be charged each time I upload a brand new video.
If you're worried about me suddenly uploading 12 videos a week, it's very simple to set a monthly cap, so you never are charged more than your limit each month.
Rewards
See below for the rewards I've set for pledging, everything from physical items (handwritten postcards and tote bags) to exclusive online content FOR YOUR EYES ONLY.
It's a huge deal for me to ask for help, and even if you are unable to pledge, remember that just sharing the videos (which will always remain free) and sharing death positivity is more than enough.
THANK YOU.
ps- Patreon does not yet allow one-time donations, but we do have a donation page on PayPal if that makes you more comfortable.
