Over the past six years I have ran a small website named TheMakersWorkbench and have always had grand plans for it as well as my YouTube channel. Unfortunately the need to earn money to feed and clothe myself has prevented me from being able to put as much time into it as I had hoped. With Patreon, I see an avenue that will allow me to supplement my income enough that I can dedicate more time to writing tutorials and shooting videos.

If you are wondering who is this guy and why should I give him my hard earned money, the question is simple. I am Charles Gantt. I have written for some of the biggest PC Tech sites on the internet including TweakTown.com, TheBestCaseScenario.com (tech news site now gone), as well as being one of the core blog team members for Element14.com. I have been a member, participant, and contributor to the RepRap project since a few weeks after its public launch, and love everything about 3D Printing.

My long-term goal is to build TheMakersWorkbench.com as well as my YouTube channel into one of the go-to resources for DIY 3D Printing, Arduino, Raspberry PI and Beaglebone Black tutorials and information. With your help I am positive that I can achieve this goal, so lets team up and #HackTheWorld & #MakeAwesome!

Goals
$0 of $50 per month
If I can reach a goal of $50 per post, I will begin shooting weekly videos that are based on timelapse shots of items I printed that week. I will overlay some commentary and talk about the successes and failures of each print.
