A pledge at this level is not just supporting us both and freeing up time to create content for the website. You would now be directly supporting the research process - helping fund the rather pricey postage payments for borrowing those extra heavy medieval chronicles and alike.

About

Hi, and welcome to our Patreon page!

We are Matt and Jamie, the guys behind the Medieval History website - The Postgrad Chronicles. We have been creating, collating, and delivering scholarly medieval history on the site for over two years now, and it has been a pleasure to watch the website and our readership grow (we both find it fascinating to watch the map of the world fill in as our readers pop up all over the globe!)

We have a very active facebook page, where we share our own content when available. In addition to this, we research, evaluate, and share, relevant articles by other authors on an almost daily basis to provide regular access to scholarly research in the field of medieval history. We also offer book recommendations and reviews, highlight important dates in the medieval calendar (located on our website) and endeavour to share articles related to events relevant to the day.

In addition to writing articles on medieval history, one of the key reasons for starting this work was to fill a gap for a thorough and wide-ranging medieval history bibliography - one that is an ever growing side to our work. The bibliography currently features 12 subsections of specifically relevant material of the best primary documents, and the most up to date and relevant secondary sources. We are always open to suggestions for new sections to include, and are often updating the current sections.

If you love medieval history, study medieval history, or just want to know more about medieval history then we would love to have your support as a patron and reader! From hagiography through to military tactics, The Postgrad Chronicles brings you Medieval History from early Anglo-Saxon England and pre-Christian Scandinavia, through to the Hundred Years’ War.
