I believe that the best way to learn new things and improve yourself is by having fun. That is the reason I started making a couple of years ago. I wanted to learn how the things around me work. What better way to invent cool machines and have fun doing that?

Designing and making cool machines quickly became one of my biggest passions. Building something that does a thing just has something to it. Building something that automates or simplifies a simple task in a fun way is just plain awesome!
The main reason I love this is because every project provides me with new challenges so it’s always a matter of experimentation, learning new skills and trying new stuff.

Supporting The Practical Engineer on Patreon makes it possible for me to make awesome videos of these cool projects. It also enables me to grow The Practical Engineer to make more frequent content and more awesome projects.

By becoming a patron you get access to my Patreon page where I’m placing behind the scenes content of the projects, experiments I’ve done for my projects and maybe even experiments for projects that just didn’t make it. Also I’d love to discuss project ideas here and get to know you better.
