About

Hey y’all.

I’ve been part of the Resistance since the 2016 election. I’ve protested, written postcards, texted, contacted and visited my representatives, and worked to protect the vote. I’m constantly on social media sharing information and ideas.

When I realized that I wasn’t the only one fighting sleeplessness, anger, and depression, I created a meditation group on Facebook and did weekly live meditations to help others release pent up emotions, find their calm, and create the capacity to maintain hope and keep taking action.

Based on conversations from the group, I started using my background in facilitation and community activism to teach antiracism, integrating self-care to reduce the feelings of blame, shame and guilt. And while that work is important, fulfilling, and so necessary, too many of us have hit our capacity.

We want to do more than survive this new normal. We need new habits and ways of living so we can thrive – take care of ourselves and our family, work, fight for justice, rest, have fun. We deserve better than feeling overwhelmed and on edge 24/7.

I am a professional facilitator who has led discussions on race, politics, socio-economic diversity, etc. for more than 20 years. I’ve led successful grassroots movements to reduce violent crime through a Department of Justice program. I’m trained to use intuition to help people overcome fear, find their purpose, and create self-care habits to maintain their energy and focus. I am also a Certified Zentangle Teacher, trained to use abstract art as a meditation method, and I have taught other forms of art such as beadwork for years.

My work is all about creating equity and emotional balance. You can create the capacity to love yourself and heal your community. I hope you’ll join me!
