Tell the World
If I can get $100 in donations every month I will be able to purchase more Facebook advertising. People seem to love my Facebook posts but not everyone sees everything which is mega frustrating! If I could advertise more on Facebook then that would mean more success in building this Patreon and in adding more reward perks!
NEW PRODUCT: TEMPORARY TATTOOS!
If you can all help me reach this goal I can get some temporary tattoos printed and then I WILL SEND ALL OF MY $5 AND UP PATRONS A SET OF TEMPORARY TATTOOS!! Additional sheets will be made available for purchase in my Etsy Store.
NEW PRODUCT: PATREON STICKER PACK
If you can all help me reach this goal then everyone who has pledged $5 or more when this goal is reached will recieve a sticker pack with at least one exclusive Patreon backer only sticker (maybe two if you all decide on a good one.) I will put together some sticker designs and you all will get to help me decide what you want in the pack! Left over non exclusive designs will appear in my etsy.

Frame Some More of My Paintings
I want to be able to buy nice frames for my watercolor paintings and for some of my prints. My artwork does not necessarily fall into a standard size of frame that I can pick up at Michaels for cheap. I would also like to be able to put my art work into nice frames so that I present it for sale. I can sell my paintings as are, without a frame, but a lot of people want to be able to buy something and then just hang it without fuss. I recently bought frames for 3 paintings and it cost $160, I'd like to frame more stuff but I cannot at this time. If I could frame more stuff I could also present my paintings at some little gallery shows!
Buy A Popup Tent
I'd like to be able to buy a pop up tent so that I can attend outdoor festivals. Right now I am restricted in where I can go to sell my art work and handmade earrings. I would like to be able to expand my reach and find more people who appreciate what I do. By being able to go to a larger variety of art shows I will be able to find a larger audience and hopefully become more of a self sufficient artist.
NEW CAMERA TO SHOOT MORE VIDEOS!
My camera equipment is slightly above basic, I have a Nikon Coolpix L830 which takes really great pictures but I am hesitant to to shoot videos with it because it exhausts the battery very quickly. Right now I am using my IPhone 4S and a time lapse app to shoot speed painting videos. Ideally I'd like to be able to get and really nice camera just for shooting time lapse videos and if you can all help me just pay for part of it I'd be super happy and I could make lots more awesome content! I'd also build a rig to shoot overhead videos instead of just shooting off to the side on the table.
NEW PRODUCT: HALLOWEEN COLORING BOOK!
If I can reach this goal I will draw and print a Halloween themed coloring book. I will make sure to create awesome line drawings of some of Halloween's most popular themes and characters and I will likely ask everyone for ideas on what I should add to the book. This coloring book will be sent to all Patreon backers that pledge $5 or more at the time the goal is reached. Additional copies will end up in my etsy for purchase.
Upgrade Computer and Cloud Storage
The computer I'm currently using is a little outdated. I'd like to be able to get a shiny new one so I can work more efficiently with my creative software and provide even better content.

About
I grew up in Michigan and spent my childhood locked away in my room reading, drawing, and writing poetry. The first thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was an artist. As I grew up I drifted away from that desire thinking that I needed to do something more practical with my life and tried to pursue other things. When I got into high school I decided that I only wanted to be an artist for the rest of my life and nothing else interested me at all. I knew that if I tried to do anything else I would end up being miserable. I moved to Chicago and went to art school. I attended the American Academy of Art where I learned all about drawing the human figure and how to be an illustrator. I graduated in 2013 and since then I've been trying to attract attention to myself and my artwork. In 2014 I decided that I would start trying to create another use for my art with illustrated jewelry and accessories. Now I sell my handmade earrings and art prints all over Chicago. I'm trying to learn more about being a professional artist and how to earn my living solely as such.

Hello potential Patreon Patrons!
My name is Theresa and I am young artist specializing in watercolor illustrations. I have a BFA in Illustration from the American Academy of Art in Chicago. I want to be able to just create and explore the world in vivid watercolor but I need a little help.
I live in Chicago in a nice one bedroom apartment which serves more as a studio and creative space rather than a living space. During the day I try to make illustrated jewelry and paintings which I then show to the world in hopes that they will love it as much as I do and will want to take it home. I go to little markets once or twice a month to sell the things I make and hope to find some nice people that can relate to me on some level or another.
To support my creative lifestyle I spend most of my nights working as a waitress as most artists do at some point. What I earn from this job is enough to keep me in art supplies and allows me to flexibility to try and start my own little art business. What I really want to do in my life is to be able to make at least a tiny impression on the lives of others by showing them the things I can make and paint. I show people these things in the hope that they will want to get to know me better and that I will get to know them better. If two people can relate to each other over a piece of art then isn't it possible that they can relate to each other over more than that? My paintings are a reflection of the things I find to beautiful, amusing, and fun in life. A lot of my paintings are Halloween themed or include animals and skulls. I really love skulls and pumpkins actually.
Why is it important for me to find the kind of people that appreciate my sense of wonderment? Well to put it simply, I spend most of my time alone just making these paintings and earrings and ornaments and things. I make them because I love them, deep down in my soul. Its thrilling for me to go out into the world and share the things I make and for people to genuinely want to see them. The things I paint do not appeal to everyone, I know that. And that is okay, I want to find the people who do get it. If they can understand and adore my paintings then they can understand me and then we can understand each other.

I'm always looking for new ideas and sometimes things are just staring me in the face but I can't see them until someone tells me about it.
