The large majority of successful blogs end up creating a Members Club or a Paywall. To access the club, or the exclusive content behind the Paywall, you have to pay a monthly fee.

This is something I have never been interested in doing.

Others take a deal and sell-out to a publishing company, at which point the blog is compromised by commercial interest.

I have had offers to do this and declined.

I want to keep my blog as it is. I want to carry on providing free, useful information for those living and travelling in Thailand. I want to keep it as independent as possible, and keep documenting my first-hand experiences and those of my readers.

Consequently,  I've had many messages over the years from kind readers asking if they can support the work on my blog and the newsletter I send out each month, or donate for help I've provided them over email.

Well, Patreon provides the perfect place for that, so I've set up a page here.

If you find the blog and my newsletter useful and you want to support its continuation, feel free to chip in, but don't feel obliged. Cheers!

If you find my blog and monthly newsletter useful and you'd like to show your appreciation, you can become a supporter.

Think of it as a subscription fee that you don't actually have to subscribe to in order to get anything, but the provider of said subscription would love it if you did throw in a buck or so.

And you'll still have access to all the content on the blog and the newsletter anyway, always!
