Hi! My name is JJ and I love to play with yarn and travel. I have this fun company called The Traveling Ewe where I take knitters and crocheters on adventures all over the place, but mostly around my home base of Portland, Oregon.

I am writing about what I am currently knitting or crocheting, thinking about knitting or crocheting next, where I ate recently that rocked, hotels I have stayed at that were amazing, and other adventures. I get asked all the time about where to go for yarny type fun when visiting this city or that and while I am always happy to provide the names of my favorite shops, its frustrating to not have the time to type out WHY I like this place or that, as it may not be what you are looking for. So I will also be making my city notes available for places I have visited that include more detail about why you might want to go to this yarn shop or that one, interesting restaurants I have eaten at, cool hotels I have stayed at and other interesting things to see.

I also love to help you dream, solve problems or work on an ongoing project and will be available to help you with those things as well.
