The conference fee is $75, airfare is $170 plus baggage fees, the hotel (Ramada Plaza) is $180, and a car rental is $43, which means I am looking to raise a total of $468 in order to attend this conference.

Hello, all! I am studying the intersection of sex and disability, with a particular interest on chronic pain and sadomasochism. Right now I am studying independently of an institution, as I am waiting to hear back about school admittance for spring 2016.

Accessing the pre-existing research I need is not cheap, because until I am an admitted student I don't have institutional access to databases and printed materials. However, by joining the Community Borrower & Researcher program at the University of Maryland, I can gain access to these resources for just $100 per year.

Additionally, for purposes of education and networking, I am trying to attend several sex and disability related conferences. Next on my list to attend Wright University's Breaking Silences, Demanding Crip Justice: Sex, Sexuality, and Disability. The conference fee is $75, airfare is $170 plus baggage fees, the hotel (Ramada Plaza) is $180, and a car rental is $43, which means I am looking to raise a total of $468 in order to attend this conference.
