The Year After is a magazine of science fiction, fantasy, and general interest. We are sustained primarily by donations from people like you. People who believe in the amazing world of short fiction and articles of intrigue. We publish both genre fiction as well as essays and articles on topics of general interest, including history, science, and philosophy.

We are currently paying semi-professional rates to our writers, but as our support base grows, we aspire to pay them higher and higher rates.
