- Handmade card in the mail to express my thanks. It might be a drawing, a collage, a bookmark-sized slice of a painting, or something similar that I haven't thought of yet.
- Grateful acknowledgement by name when I give presentations.
- SPECIAL EXTRA! At least once a year (and maybe more) my patrons will have access to a small Patrons-only stash of art and may choose a piece for free. Brene Brown said that an important part of connection is feeling seen, heard, and valued; that's how I feel because of you. I am so grateful and I want to give back.
ideas express themselves in various forms:
a lot of them have been collaborations with other artists, musicians,
and scientists because it's more fun and interesting than working
Whatever I'm excited about is what I
post. I put up photos of new art, updates on current projects, new
ideas, links to new experimental music, travel photos from artist
residencies, and whatever else I think you guys might like to know
about my practice. I see my Patreon page as a way to keep in touch,
exchange ideas, and even initiate collaborations. The Art-Science
connection seems to come up a lot.
Having patrons who believe that what
I'm doing is worthwhile is beyond awesome! As a gesture of my
appreciation, I send art in the mail; one-line drawings, handmade
cards, slices of paintings, and things like that.
am so grateful for the support I receive every day from friends,
family, and even people I hardly know who offer words of
encouragement. You guys are the absolute BEST! Thank you. I solemnly
pledge to honour your support by making the coolest shit possible.
I have content on my soundcloud and my website if you want to find out more.
