Let me be straight up with you. I love writing. I love thinking. Writing helps me process my thoughts. I'm not one a person who is quick on their feet with quick-witted comebacks, but if you give me some time I can analyze, reanalyze and structure a well-thought perspective for you to contemplate. 

I do that in large part on my blog, here. But I'm also privileged to do that on other websites regularly like ChristandPopCulture.com.

So why a Patreon account? 
So when I originally launched my Patreon page few years ago I set out with larger than life ambitions, engaging various avenues like podcasts, a full-scale website, etc. I explored those avenues and loved them. Unfortunately, I had to be honest with myself and realize that path was not feasible for the long-term goals I have as a husband, teacher, and coach. So I scaled back my production and am now focusing on strictly free-lance writing that reach outside the scope of strictly faith-based writing. 

So now I want to use my Patreon account to specialize my writing endeavors and look for opportunities where my voice can be heard on small, medium, and large-scale publications. I also have a goal to author a book soon. So the reason for this account is to give you the opportunity to join my journey.

Many people have expressed a desire to support me out of pure appreciation for my voice and my thoughts. If that is you, I can't thank you enough and I do not take that lightly. If that's not you, I respect you and hope you keep reading. Either way, I want to use this platform to engage in thought with assenters and dissenters alike.
