About Tiny Bear Jaws

Artistic Director Elena Belyea and Artistic Associate and Producer Tori Morrison.

We're Elena Eli Belyea & Tori Morrison, and together, we make Tiny Bear Jaws, a little theatre company with teeth. Founded in 2015, Tiny Bear Jaws is an award-winning, agile, femme/queer run cross-Canadian company that produces innovative, provocative, entertaining, and interdisciplinary new works. We are not tied in a particular city or venue, consequently we work in a variety of communities and spaces, depending on the needs of each project. Since its inception, Tiny Bear Jaws has had over 85 shows in 5 cities (including Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal, and Toronto) and worked with over 150 artists across Canada.

What are we making?
Tiny Bear Jaws is creating dynamic, engaging and boundary-breaking theatre. We are committed to relentlessly exploring the possibilities available exclusively in live performance and seeking out new ways of engaging meaningfully with the communities with whom we share our work. Upcoming projects include:

- Our fourth Annual Holiday Micro-Play Reading in Edmonton (A heartwarming night of new plays to cheer and provoke), happening December 2019.

Gabriel Richardson and Roland Meseck in "Everyone We Know Will Be There: A House Party In One Act."

Past projects include:

- Gender? I Hardly Know Them (Edmonton Fringe Festival, August 2019, hold-over performances at Grindstone Comedy Theatre). More at http://instagram.com/genderihardlyknowthem
