YouTube Live is flaky at best. One of the better streaming platforms is Livestream.com and the package we need runs $400/mo. Once we reach our goal of $200/show we will be able to afford a better live streaming experience for everyone!

More Gear

This goal will allow us to start buying additional Canon HF-G20 cameras for the live show. 2 are destined for the main set with one for the video control room where Tim sits. Will allow us more selection of shots, a better interaction with the video control room and likely more awesomely fun awkward moments!

We also want to bring in new microphones and better audio all the way around.

Social integration

We want to add Twitter and Facebook information live to the broadcast. For this we need to custom develop some software and get new hardware to drive it. End result: when you tweet us we can put it up as a banner in real time (moderated, of course) and have Facebook polls for live real-time interaction with the show!

Small Swag Store

We all love TMRO and want to show off our love everywhere we go! At this goal TMRO will work on the initial swag store with Amazon fulfillment. We will be selling these products at cost (product plus shipping plus services) so you can get quality items at the lowest possible price.

Medium Swag Store

$1,500 per live webcast

Now that we have a little extra cash to work with, we'll add some more items to that Amazon fulfilled swag store. Mugs, space pens, anything cool we can get our hands on!

Want more live shows? More SpacePods? More SPACE??? One of the huge constraints to creating content is time. Since both Cariann and I need a full time job to pay for the show, we don't have time to create a lot more content. Once we're able to replace some of our income with show funds, we can break away and start to produce TMRO shows full time!

Build a Studio

Dream big or go home! I believe space and the cosmos are awesome enough that we could, one day, achieve this goal! When we do, a shiny new studio space capable of bringing in a live audience shall be designed and built.

Once we reach $200,000 per episode, we'll start buying a ticket on Virgin Galactic to give away to a lucky viewer each month. Yup. We'll start spreading the cosmic love by giving everyone a chance to go to space!
