If you have a twenty to throw in, you'll get regular anti-racism resources from me and my thoughts on how to put these tools into practice in your daily life. Plus the thank yous from previous tier.
First of all, thank you. Your support empowers me to educate people and make the world a better safer place for ourselves and our kids. I'm so thrilled to send you an original piece of art commissioned by me and created by a Black artist as a token of my gratitude, as well as all the thank yous in the previous tiers. <3
It took a lifetime to learn the biases that we hold today. Being committed to sobriety in any sense is work that will never be completed, and yet we must do it for the safety and health of ourselves and our communities.
I want to foster a community that deals with unlearning racism in a holistic manner. At the same time I recognize I don’t currently possess all of the skill set necessary to do this work. I need to continue to educate myself as well as to be educated by those who have been doing this work for decades. I have a lot to learn and I wanna share it with you.
Data shows us that learning in small group actually increases comprehension and helps us retain information better than learning alone. Having a community and a coach increases your likelihood of success.
We cannot create a better world without sobering up. That’s why I created White Homework. As a student, learning is a space to mess up and try again. Failure is a necessary part of the process of learning. Achieving perfection on the first try doesn’t happen with complex skills.
I will never stop working for justice and I’d be honored to have you by my side. Will you join me?
