Hiya!

I'm Toxic Waste,  And I am here today to tell you a little bit about me.

When I first began creating music I was 12, I wanted to learn the piano, But at the time (Being a young child at the time and clearly not understanding how to play it) I just sort of gave up, However, Years later, after I turned 14 years old, I redownloaded my (least) favorite music software, which goes by one name and one name only... "GarageBand",

After installing it, something just... clicked.
I had this idea of combining early 60s and 70s funk with the EDM microgenre which is known as "Trance",

So,
I opened up a new project within GarageBand and began work on the said project,
I made several incarnations and variations of the same project once the initial prototype was complete and simply decided on the original prototype, which was of course reworked within GarageBand and Audacity to achieve the track that we have now.

Toxic Waste - Dusty Old Boombox

Unfortunately,
I was completely out of ideas.

I had no idea what direction to go in with my musical career next,
About a month or so later, I began to get back into the EDM microgenre known as "night-core"
or "happy trap" as some like to call it now,

I was also beginning to get into the metal genre, listening to several metal covers, by several different artists such as PeLLeK,  Danny Metal, Tsuko. G and Frog Leap Studios (O-Zone Dragostea Din Tei cover(s) by PeLLeK, Danny Metal, and Tsuko. G.   and a lot more...)

When I quickly viewed my  Bandcamp page and noticed that I hadn't published anything yet, not a single album (EP "Extended Play" or LP "Long Play") was in sight!

I opened a new tab on Google Chrome and began browsing the internet for some inspiration,
When someone pointed this particular video out to me, It was the "Numa Numa" guy (Gary Brolsma) original internet viral meme video from late 2006,

This was the inspiration for my first ever album  "The Night is Nigh EP"
And my first ever attempt at night-core, Since it's initial release on the ET: The Extra-Terrestrial movie anniversary on June, 21st 2018,

"The Night is Nigh EP" album has made nearly $100K in sales revenue.

And with your support,
I'll be able to continue to grow and improve as a musician.

Thank you all so much,
- Toxic Waste
