Thanks for even being here and reading this, because that means you've at least vaguely considered the possibility, however remote, of supporting True Crime Review. Even if you decide against it, it means a lot to be considered for any of your hard-earned dough.

Patrons will always get a shout-out in the first episode I publish after they sign up (unless you don't want one), and other perks will include a live video and chat feed during production of new episodes (which means I can't hide any of the outtakes from participating patrons...), guest appearances by patrons who are up for it and bonus episodes.

What the hell will he spend my money on? you ask. Well the tl;dr answer is only stuff that makes the show better.

Right now I'm rocking a $40 mic in an empty spare room the size of a large closet. I pride myself on a lot of research but there are resources that go far beyond what I currently do, for a price. And then there's advertising, which is especially effective for this show on Facebook but can add up quick if you're doing it right. I also want to eventually develop some merch, but that will require working with a designer and the occasional up-front cash outlay for some products.

Whether or not you become a patron, I hope you'll keep listening!
Rewards
Patreon. Exclusive. Episodes.
$1 or more per episode 1 patron
Official patron status starts with a thank-you in the next episode. Hopefully you're name isn't This Podcast Sucks. That would be mean. Funny, yes, but also mean.

Oh, and for just a single dollar a month you'll get Patreon EXCLUSIVE episodes, AT LEAST one per month, that won't be in the free feed!

This is arguably the most labor-intensive reward I'm offering and I'm making it available at the lowest tier to show how seriously I take being given even one single dollar every month.
The Missing Link
$3 or more per episode 0 patrons
Your name and a link of your choice goes on a list of patrons on the website at truecrimereview.net, plus all previous rewards.
True Crime Face Time
$5 or more per episode 0 patrons
There's a private Slack chatroom. You'll be in it. I'll be in it. Ask questions, suggest topics, hurl insults in ALL CAPS. I'll also be live-streaming production of new episodes on a yet-to-be-chosen video platform, likely YouTube or Periscope.

It's up to you, plus all previous rewards.
When "Request" Means "Demand"
$10 or more per episode 0 patrons
You get to DEMAND a topic for me to cover in the next year, guaranteed. It has to be true crime: a case in the news, a cold case, an interview you want me to try to get.

I don't plan to take a whole year to get to it, but these things can be tricky depending on the topic as far research, trying to get an interview, etc.

Plus all previous rewards.
Goals
$1 of $1 per episode
I will do a dance when I get my first patron. While I don't recommend it, that person will have the option of seeing a photo of that dance. Maybe, maybe a GIF.
