About Twin Cities Geek

Twin Cities Geek is an online culture magazine for the self-identifying geek community in Minnesota, particularly focused around the areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

As a nonprofit, it is the goal of Twin Cities Geek to provide online spaces where topics important to members of MN geek communities can be discussed in fun, constructive, responsible, and impactful ways.

Your support helps us cover the costs of web hosting, exhibiting at events, and more to support our mission.

Everyone who supports Twin Cities Geek with a monthly contribution of any amount will get:


This will be updated once per month; we will email you for your information. Please tell us if you prefer not be listed on the website. You must provide your Slack username to be added to the Slack channel. You must request to join the Facebook group to be added to it. If you discontinue your monthly support of Twin Cities Geek, you will be removed from the website, group, and channel.


Everyone who supports Twin Cities Geek with a monthly contribution of $5 or more by the end of 2019 will get the following mailed to them:

  • A Twin Cities Geek pin pack of 4 1-inch pins (1 old and 3 new designs)
  • A vinyl Twin Cities Geek sticker (the ones we sell at conventions)
  • An Official Geek Card and Bibliophile bookmark (the ones we give away at conventions)
  • A thank-you letter signed by Hal and Madeleine

To receive Twin Cities Geek swag in the mail, you must provide your mailing address when we email you asking for it.
