Around 2005 I was handed a livecd [wiki] by a co-worker and told to make sure my BIOS booted the cd instead of my internal HDD. I have been using Linux ever since. I've amassed so much knowledge that I can now do whatever I need to do using OpenSource [opensource.org/osd] software (except for gaming, I enjoy all the FPS's). I also triple boot Arch, Xubuntu, and Windows. (I still need Windows for games like Battlefield 4 and Titanfall).

I have 2 small goals (joke)
Assist in making Linux more understandable to the end consumer who has most likely not even heard of it before Google released Android around 2007 (a form of Linux)Get more games developed for Linux from the start versus making ports. UE4 [unrealengine.com] is an example of a Linux gaming engine that will hopefully see some games developed on.I use the power of social media along with various collaboration/open forums such as reddit and my Tech Blog to accomplish these two goals.

You can see the amount of effort I put into expanding my knowledge and learning everything I can about OpenSource and how I can use it to grow my business and help me create enjoyable entertaining videos and Livestreams (Hitbox.tv StreamUp (BETA)) for you. I will most likely be able to stream to a dedicated website soon enough so that you won't have to deal with that silly buffering and horrendous latency between you and me while I stream on Twitch (speculation is that if you're a non-partnered channel on Twitch viewers can only view your stream from one server).

If you pledge this amount per month I'll most likely be able to start upgrading hardware used to make the show. An example would be a new GTX 980 for LIVE HD video encoding. I may even be able to look into getting some dedicated hardware. You'll receive a shout out during an episode of Linux Tech and Gaming Podcast.

If you pledge this amount you're either crazy or you want to see behind the scenes video footage. You'll have access to videos showing how I setup my LAN for example. You'll also receive 1 item from my store.
Goals

I love live streaming, if I reach this goal I'll be able to live stream 3 days a week because coffee. I enjoy gaming and hanging out with you guys. You can watch LIVE on Hitbox and YouTube. I've been checking out Beam as well.
