About

I make videos for YouTube, where I share my knowledge and passion regarding creating electronic music with open-source software and GNU/Linux operating systems.

I want to inspire people to get creative and to express themselves through sounds, using free (as in freedom) software.

The tools are there: most of us already have more than capable computers. All the software you will need is freely available - created by the people for the people. But there's something missing: inspiration and knowledge. And that's why I'm here.

Your support will allow me to dedicate more time to making quality videos for you to learn from, and to support open-source audio developers who craft the tools for us. The open-source software universe can already do a lot (that I hope my discography shows).

By becoming a patron you'll get access to:

  • Free FLAC downloads of all of my paid music releases (the new "Suppressed" longplay is the first one),
  • Patron-exclusive content like deleted scenes or binned videos, WIP tracks, and stuff that never got released, because I never had time to finish it but it'd be a waste not ever showing it to anybody,
  • premium access to unfa's Discord server, where my patrons, supporters and friends hang out, share ideas, ask and answer questions, get and give feedback on their music and generally stay in touch. Join the server here.
Your input will also allow me to continue making quality music with open-source software and GNU/Linux operating systems. It's the only way to truly showcase the software, to learn the workflow, and help develop the software - and to attract artists to use it.
The software is intended to make music, if I don't make music with it - I have nothing to teach you.

Ultimately this could become a part- or even full-time job for me in the service of the open-source music community, which would be fantastic - it's all up to you!

I keep doing my best, and you decide if it's worth your money.

Thank you for being here! :)
