Unseen64 is an historical archive with articles, screenshots and videos for cancelled, beta & unseen videogames. Every change and cut creates a different gaming experience; so we started saving some documents of this evolution for curiosity, historic and artistic preservation.
Since 2022 monokoma became a dad and with a new family and more responsibilities he cannot write new articles for Unseen64 anymore. We asked to our patrons what they would like to do with our website and they decided to keep donating to ensure we can still pay the server that keeps Unseen64 online, always available for everyone else.
Also, we'll create and upload a full U64 backup on Archive.org and create new accounts on the U64 website for people who’d like to write and publish articles in autonomy, so they may still add new games to the website. If you want to add new cancelled games to Unseen64, send us an email to [email protected]. We'll also open a Unseen64 Discord to let the new authors collaborate together easily and organize new articles in autonomy.
There are more than 3.000 unseen videogames currently saved in the Unseen64 archive: we are an independent website, we don't have marketing people or advertising.
Here's how pledges from Patreon help us:
Starting from 1$ a month, the cost of 1 cup of coffee, you can help a lot. You can donate as much as you want, and you can cancel your pledge at any point if you’re low on cash or have a change of heart.
Big gaming networks like IGN or Kotaku have the power and the money to have a team to work full-time on their website, to publish daily updates. We don't have their resources and without monokoma we cannot update the site anymore, but we hope we can keep online this museum for all those games that could be forgotten forever.
Every cent is really appreciated and will be used for the Unseen64 Archive.

Here's how pledges from Patreon help us:
1) We pay the
Unseen64 server and IT support every year, to keep the site online.
2) We preserve info, screens and videos of lost videogames with multiple online and offline backups.
Donate only what you can afford, only how much you think it's worth keeping U64 online.
We cannot ensure anything more than our love for lost video games (even the most obscure, boring ones) and to do everything we can to keep the Unseen64 archive online for everyone else around the world.
