Hello, friends and supporters!

ToBoKi was originally my father's creation.

As a typical salaried employee in South Korea in 1960s, he spent more time at work than with me and my siblings. ToBoKi was his way of relating his love to us, to show us we were always in his thoughts.

On the weekends, when he was at home, he would make pencil sketches, outline them in ink, and then hand them to me to erase the graphite, before he filled them in as completed works.

Those sessions were the beginning of our collection together, and it is what inspired me to become an artist.

This is a small tribute from his daughter. Thank you Dad, I love you too!
