Turkey Book Talk features interviews with authors, academics, journalists and researchers on Turkey and its region.

The podcast provides a platform for our guests' important work to reach a wider audience. The goal is to present complex subjects in an accessible and enjoyable form.

As a paying member via Patreon you will get access to a range of extra content and benefits, including:

Full transcripts – in both English and Turkish – of every interview published on Turkey Book Talk in PDF form, as soon as the episode is published.

Full transcripts of the entire Turkey Book Talk archive – over 70 conversations so far. The archive also includes many interviews not previously published on the podcast.

- Access to an exclusive 30% discount on Turkey/Ottoman History books published by IB Tauris. They have a fantastic archive of titles and have made over 200 books from their Turkey/Ottoman History series - both academic and general interest - available through a special discount code exclusive to Turkey Book Talk members.

- Access to the archive of over 200 book reviews originally published in Hurriyet Daily News from 2013 to 2018, now unavailable online. The reviews cover a diverse range of subjects from Turkish and international fiction and poetry to history, journalism, and politics.

Signing up as a member will help keep us going and further develop the podcast.

In order to access all these benefits and to support Turkey Book Talk, just pledge a minimum of $3 per episode. At present we publish new episodes every two weeks, so the membership price is no more than $6 monthly - basically the price of a couple of coffees per month.

If you’re feeling particularly generous and want to pledge more, of course everything helps and you are more than welcome.

However much you pledge, membership is entirely at your own discretion. Members are only charged when a new episode is published so there is no prior commitment or strings attached: All members are free to sign off whenever they want.

Many thanks for reading and listening.
