Hyperbolic Tree of Life is a visualisation of the phylogenetic tree created by the Open Tree of Life project [1]. Beside integrating this data souce, our main task is to create a web component for visualizing large hierarchys. This hyperbolic tree [2] web component is distributed under the MIT licence at Github [3].

Handling all five million species is a challenging task for consumer hardware, therefore only parts of the hole tree are available so far. Be part of our journey to make the hole tree available and become a Patreon!
