The Havana-Montana Bridge Project is a collaborative effort between musicians from the USA and Cuba. The purpose of this project is to build a bridge through music between people of both countries who share the dream of better relations, friendship, love and united creativity. What all began with a Montana man's dream to play drums with Cuban street musicians and a series of serendipitous encounters during his travels, resulted in the collaboration between a dozen musicians from Santiago de Cuba and Bozeman, Montana to write and record "Building a Bridge from Montana to Havana," which aired the same day the Cuban embassy opened in Washington, DC on July 25, 2015.  Energized and inspired, a growing list of musicians from both countries collectively offering a wide range of musical backgrounds including Afro-Cuban, hip hop, rock, jazz, son, salsa, trova and blues influences, and more, have continued to write new material with the goal of creating a full-length CD. With your support, we will create a wide and dynamic range of Cuban- and American-influenced music, and outstanding artists from both countries will unite on an international stage to perform this exciting new sound in concert. This music will thrill listeners of reggaeton to rock, salsa to soul, bolero to blues and much, much more. Thank you for your support in helping make this dream become a reality.
