Hi!
My name is Giorgio Cappelli, and my project is called Bila, the rocker warrior.
It's a fantasy/adventure/humor comic book with 44 pages. The details are as follows:

Bila is a 19-year-old warrior. She wears braids in her blond hair, is slightly overweighed, and a very good fighter. She has leather clothes and a belt with a metal buckle, which she uses as a weapon. Bila quickly learned how to handle it with her mother, after seeing how painful were its strokes.
She was born in the village of the Biggulls, where most women are around 6.56 tall. Bila is a little shorter, 6.13. That’s because of her father, 5.4 tall.
Bila plays lute. She has developed a kind of ancestor rhythm of heavy metal. She dreams about being a musician for a living. Meanwhile, she must accept all risky missions offered to her.
Although having a chip on her shoulder, Bila is bighearted and cannot bear seeing anyone in trouble. She’s feminine, funny, a good friend and so smart she always manages to find a way out of any trouble.

Bila’s World

Bila lives in a place and time which remind the universes of Lord of the Rings and Asterix. Her adventures take place in a period similar to our Ancient History (round VIIIth century BC). In her everyday life, the rocker warrior meets mythological beings from Greece, Rome, Japan, Middle East and even Africa. It’s not unusual for her to find werewolves, orcs, elves, dwarves, gremlins, trolls, ogres, nymphs, fairies, mermaids, peoples with characteristics between humans and birds, zombies, vampires, among others. She can meet civilizations like Egyptian, Sumerian, Acadian, Jewish, Celtic etc.
There are also magical elements and bizarre artifacts: the Biggull warrior carries a portable crystal ball, which works like some cell phone with a display.
Due to that variety of components, lots of peculiar situations shall happen: Bila can sail in a pirate ship with a crew of clever insect-like creatures commanded by a "male mermaid" captain; discover a secret community of wargolems; gigging with her lute in hazardous places; take a ride in a caravan secretly transporting a bizarre creature; escape the monstrous Jurassicsaur; accept missions as bodyguard; hear, by chance, any mention of the sinking of Atlantis; or finding a necromancer mage zombie.

The tavern

This is a starting point for many adventures: we can see here several characters: lazy castle guards, drunken kobolds, unknown artists, people engaged in politics or ecology, kappas, trolls, intellectualoids, hipsters, beatniks, marginal poets, new-age charlatans. The tavern’s proprietary is a fairy with OCD. Someone may leave a notice on the tavern’s bulletin board and Bila may be interested.

The village where she lives

At the village there are some supporting characters, like Bila’s parents; the queen of the Biggulls; and Galallow, a very good friend of Bila’s, who wishes to be a warrior but finds the resistance of his mother, the queen. So, he has to practice cross-dressing every time the Biggulls enter a combat.

Other supporting characters

Bayconn: the warlock orc. Jester, saucy, chutzpah and a little cranky. He loves teasing people. Bila, however, already knows him and never gets caught by his pranks. A great inventor and researcher of magic, spells and occult arts. If you think that spells exist by themselves, that it’s just saying a few rhymed words, a fake Latin phrase and voilá, you’re wrong! Witchcraft is a science and requires research. It has nothing to do with alchemy. It involves manipulating of mana, the energy behind the magic. Bayconn is a professor at the school he founded, the Warthog University of Witchcraft, Occultism, Sorcery and the Like.

Wendy Winnie Whitney: At 12, this girl decided to work in order to earn her own money and to study. But she was too young for the marketplace. Since her parents are a couple of sorcerers, it was easy to find the items to produce a potion which made her look older. She ended working with Bayconn, the only one who knows this spell of artificial aging. He gave her a job, surprised to find someone so young and so eager to learn. The girl affirms to be 17, although she looks 29 due to the excess of ingredients in the potion.
WWW (as she’s also known) is flustered, clumsy, dazed and euphoric, like any teenager. Men get crazed with her beauty, as they ignore her true age. WWW is also a fan of Bila’s; whenever she can, she tries to impress or fawn the rocker warrior. Always excited with her own discoveries, as if they were groundbreaking, she gives magic items for Bila to use in her missions.

Hope you liked it and I wish you to be my patreon.

Thanks!
