Eric Hofmann I feel a little bad for Magic, it was such a nice and unique cover but it came out 30 seconds before the Dear River official video and Elements started streaming. But mostly I am pumped beyond measure, not least because the actual package is in my actual hands AHHHHH!!!

a big day.

hey friends, today was a day to remember. today many of you heard elements for the first time ever, and just thinking of that gives me goosebumps. i'm not going to go on and on, but i just wanted to share how i'm feeling in this moment with you guys. i can't tell you how much it means to know these songs of mine are finally finding their way to your ears. the responses to the album i have read today around the internet have brought me to tears more times than i'd like to admit. i am so happy. i am so moved. i am so excited :) thank you all so much <3 xo kina if you're ready for it... here's elements: http://avclub.com/article/stream-kina-grannis-new-lp-elements-its-entirety-r-203931

Eric Hofmann All my grandparents are dead. The first I was alive for was my father's father, 10 years ago now. I had never seen my father cry before, and in the car ride home I wrote an 8 bar instrumental blues called Kinda Blue. It's lucky for me that that happened then instead of now, because I wouldn't be able to get Forever Blue out of my heart. I've heard half the songs on the album before in some version, and listening to them is coming home. What will happen in the new half? Finding a home. At last. I really really appreciate this album, is what I am saying. :')
