Write It In The Sky

Happy 2015! I'm feeling like doing a little sharing with you all :) I wrote "Write It In The Sky" about when Jesse and I got engaged--August 10th, 2012, just over a year before we got married. I'll leave out all the little details, but it was lovely and perfect, and, fun fact, it took place exactly where I'm singing the song in this video. Just felt right to record the song there today :) Well that's all for now. Hope you all are doing great! <3 Kina

Between Sheets - Imogen Heap Cover

I took a little time out of my off day in Paris yesterday to make a video of one of my favorite Imogen Heap songs. I pretty much find her to be a complete musical genius. If you have not checked out her album Ellipse, please do so! And be sure to check out this song in particular. Amazing production, feelings, textures. It's hard to do it justice, but I enjoyed trying :) Kina p.s. Happy monday! Anyone have fun plans this week?

Eric Hofmann I can still remember sitting down to Ellipse after your First Train Home cover and being amazed at how much better your version was. I know it's not a competition etc. but you just killed it. You really just killed it. Also this song, and for that matter The Fire. I mean, she didn't even sing any words! ;)

Jennifer Yarrington First Train Home was my introduction to Kina- I love the song and I wondered if I could learn to play it on the guitar, what would it sound like stripped down- would it work? So I looked on youtube to see if anyone had and...Kina as you noted killed it., omg, it was stunning. I fell down the rabbit hole of her channel that afternoon and watched all of them. And I have been hooked ever since. any Imogen Heap covers are extra special for me!

The dedication and humble-ness Ive seen since following your music is beyond belief. When I listen to your music I feel like I'm listening to a friend rather than a musician hours away. Corny but that's exactly how i feel listening to music i can relate to . I hope I can thank you in person someday, but being a patron will do for the meantime LOL!
