Throw it Away

Here's a special backyard acoustic session of "Throw It Away" with my band! 


I'm writing you all today from a hotel room in Indonesia where I've been with my band for the last two weeks. There's so much I wish I could tell you guys right now, but just know that the band and I are all safe and we're hoping we'll get to go home sometime this week. We're pretty crushed that due to some unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, all but one of my Asia tour dates were cancelled, but we're trying to keep positive and stay sane until we're home again.

Bob Cunningham Great music, great location & direction, great camera work, great editing! The only minor issue is lighting: It seems one set of closeups was done just after sunset, during dusk, and the lighting/shadows changed quite a bit when cut together with the other shots. But maybe I'm the only one who noticed...

Write It In The Sky

Happy 2015! I'm feeling like doing a little sharing with you all :) I wrote "Write It In The Sky" about when Jesse and I got engaged--August 10th, 2012, just over a year before we got married. I'll leave out all the little details, but it was lovely and perfect, and, fun fact, it took place exactly where I'm singing the song in this video. "The Fire" / "Darling" Mashup with MAX

Hello my wonderful Patrons! Here's a little video I did with my friend Max! We've been wanting to collaborate since we worked on a crazy project together for Coke. I've never done a mashup of one of my own songs before, but we had so fun and were pleasantly surprised with how easily our two songs melded together. Hope you enjoy it and happy Monday! Kina P.S. Stay With Me / Best I Ever Had (Mashup with Hoodie Allen)

Hello friends! My friend Hoodie--you may remember him from our song "Make It Home"--was in town recently and we decided to throw together a little mashup for fun! So here it is. Kina Does Australian & Kiwi Accents

Ohhhhh how I'd love to how an interesting accent in real life. Guess I'll just have to keep pretending... Next one to tackle is a British accent (which I cannot do at all). Any accent tutors out there?? ;)

Chris Derbidge I want to hear her sing Bachianas Brasilerias No.5 (for soprano singer) by Villa-Lobos. I think she has a beautiful voice and could pull it off! I also think she could add something unique to it. :)
